Pisa open to offers for 14-goal striker as clubs circle ahead of new season.

Nigerian striker Rafiu Durosinmi could be on the move again this summer after reports emerged that Serie A side Torino and Turkish giants Trabzonspor are both interested in signing the Super Eagles hopeful from Pisa.

The 23-year-old forward is reportedly facing an uncertain future in Italy just months after joining Pisa from Czech club Viktoria Plzeň in a club-record transfer during the January window.

According to reports from Italy and Turkey, Pisa are now willing to listen to offers between €8 million and €10 million for the Nigerian attacker following a difficult adaptation period in Serie A.

Trabzonspor are said to be intensifying their pursuit of Durosinmi as they continue searching for long-term attacking reinforcements ahead of next season. Torino are also monitoring the striker closely amid uncertainty surrounding the future of Colombian forward Duván Zapata.

Despite struggling for consistency in Italy, the Nigerian forward still managed a respectable return of 14 goals in 42 appearances across all competitions this season, combining his performances for Viktoria Plzeň and Pisa.

Durosinmi initially generated excitement after scoring a dramatic late equaliser on his Serie A debut against Atalanta shortly after arriving in Italy. However, he later found regular opportunities difficult to secure and ended the campaign with one goal and one assist in 12 league appearances for Pisa.

Even with his difficult spell in Serie A, several European clubs remain convinced about the striker’s long-term potential because of his physical strength, aerial dominance and movement inside the penalty area. Reports also suggest that clubs in England and Germany are monitoring his situation ahead of the summer transfer window.

The former Box2Box FC academy product has also remained on the radar of the Nigerian national team setup. Super Eagles coach Éric Chelle is reportedly monitoring the striker ahead of the upcoming Unity Cup tournament in London, where Nigeria could test new attacking options.

Durosinmi had previously been named in Nigeria’s provisional squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations before missing out on the final selection. However, his performances over the last two seasons in the Czech Republic and Italy have continued to attract attention within Nigerian football circles.

A move to Trabzonspor could potentially see Durosinmi follow in the footsteps of fellow Nigerian striker Paul Onuachu, who has enjoyed strong success with the Turkish club. Meanwhile, Torino could offer the striker another opportunity to prove himself in Serie A.

With the summer transfer window approaching, the coming weeks are expected to play a major role in determining the next chapter of Durosinmi’s career as interest in the Nigerian forward continues to grow across Europe.
