Kelechi Iheanacho continued his impressive start to life in Turkey by scoring the decisive goal as Bursaspor defeated Iğdır FK 1–0 on Saturday.

The Super Eagles forward struck in the 16th minute to settle a closely contested Turkish 1. Lig encounter and hand Bursaspor their second victory of the new campaign.
Iheanacho’s goal proved enough for the home side, who held on to claim all three points at the Timsah Arena.
The 29-year-old Nigerian has now scored in each of his first two competitive appearances for Bursaspor.
He made an immediate impact on his debut against Bodrum FK last weekend, scoring once and providing an assist as Bursaspor secured a 2–0 away victory.
Iheanacho then followed that performance with another match-winning contribution against Iğdır FK, underlining his early influence since joining the Turkish club.
According to match records, the former Leicester City and Celtic forward’s 16th-minute strike was the only goal of the contest.
The victory means Bursaspor have collected maximum points from their opening two league matches, making an encouraging start to their campaign.
Iheanacho’s flying start will also be welcomed by Nigeria supporters, with the experienced striker quickly finding his rhythm after his summer move to Turkey.
For Bursaspor, the challenge now will be to maintain their perfect start, while Iheanacho will be hoping his goalscoring form continues in the coming weeks.
