Nigerian-eligible Bayern Munich youngster Wisdom Mike is set to join Belgian champions Club Brugge after the two clubs reached an agreement over a €5 million transfer.
The 17-year-old winger is expected to complete a medical before finalising the move, with Bayern also securing performance-related add-ons and a sell-on clause as part of the agreement. Sky Sport Germany reported that Mike is expected to sign a contract running until 2029.
Mike’s move to Belgium comes after a breakthrough period at Bayern, where he progressed through the club’s youth system and earned opportunities with the senior side during the 2025/26 campaign.

Mike gets chance to continue development at Club Brugge
The teenager’s next step will see him move into Belgian football, where Club Brugge can offer him an opportunity to continue his development and potentially compete in the Champions League.
Mike’s only Champions League appearance for Bayern came against Club Brugge in October 2025, when he came off the bench during Bayern’s 4-0 victory. He could now return to the competition wearing the Belgian club’s colours.
His senior breakthrough came in September 2025 when he made his Bundesliga debut against Werder Bremen. He subsequently made further appearances against Freiburg, Heidenheim and Wolfsburg, according to his official playing record.
Mike’s progress was interrupted by a hip injury during the latter part of the 2025/26 season, but his performances before the setback had already attracted attention from clubs looking to develop young attacking talent.
Bayern retain interest in future transfer
Although Bayern are allowing the youngster to leave permanently, the German champions have protected their future interests by including a sell-on clause in the agreement.
The fixed transfer fee is reported to be €5 million, with additional bonuses potentially increasing the overall value of the deal.
Mike, who was born in Germany and has Nigerian eligibility, has represented Germany at youth level. The Bundesliga’s official player profile lists both Germany and Nigeria among his national affiliations.
His move to Club Brugge will therefore be closely followed by Nigerian football supporters, particularly as the young winger continues his development at senior level.
With the medical still required to complete the transfer, Mike is now on the verge of beginning a new chapter in Belgium after his breakthrough at Bayern Munich.
