The Super Eagles forward resumed training at Galatasaray’s Kemerburgaz Metin Oktay Facilities, where head coach Okan Buruk supervised the team’s latest training session ahead of the club’s pre-season programme.
Osimhen was allowed to report later than the rest of the squad after receiving permission from the club, and his return provides a timely boost as Galatasaray intensify preparations for the upcoming campaign.
The reigning Turkish champions are scheduled to depart for Austria on Thursday, July 23, for a pre-season training tour that will include two friendly fixtures.
Galatasaray will take on Italian side Monza in their opening warm-up game before concluding the Austria tour with another friendly against Venezia on Monday, July 27.
The return of the Nigerian international is expected to strengthen Buruk’s options as the club fine-tunes preparations for another demanding season.
