Juventus have reportedly agreed a deal to sign the promising forward, subject to medical checks.

Italian giants Juventus are reportedly close to completing the signing of Genoa forward Jeff Ekhator, with the young attacker set to move to Turin on a five-year contract pending his medical examination.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the Bianconeri have reached an agreement with Genoa for the Nigeria-eligible forward, who has emerged as one of Italy’s exciting young attacking talents.

The 19-year-old enjoyed a breakthrough campaign with Genoa during the 2025/26 Serie A season, making 30 appearances in the competition and scoring three goals while showing his ability to operate in different attacking positions.

His performances attracted attention from several clubs, but Juventus acted quickly to secure the services of the promising forward as they continue their plans for the future.

Jeff Ekhator Transfer To Juventus Nears Completion

Reports indicate that Juventus and Genoa have finalised the agreement for Ekhator’s transfer, with the Turin club looking to complete the deal before the financial deadline for the 2025/26 accounting period.

The youngster is already travelling for medical tests, a final step before the transfer can officially be announced.

Juventus are expected to pay an initial fee of around €16 million for the forward, with an additional €2 million potentially available through performance-related bonuses.

As part of the agreement, Austrian youngster David Puczka is also set to move in the opposite direction to Genoa.

Ekhator is expected to sign a long-term contract that will keep him at Juventus until 2031, giving the player an opportunity to continue his development at one of Europe’s most historic clubs.

The Italian-Nigerian attacker has become one of the young players to watch in Serie A after his impressive first full season with Genoa.

Although he represents Italy’s youth setup, his Nigerian eligibility has made him a player of interest among Super Eagles supporters watching the progress of Nigerian-origin talents in Europe.

The move to Juventus could provide Ekhator with the platform to develop alongside some of the best players in Italian football and compete at the highest level.
