Nigerian youngster Pam Peter Davou has continued his rapid rise in Europe after earning a call-up to the Nigeria U20 national team following another impressive performance in the Czech Republic.
The talented forward, who is currently enjoying a loan spell at Czech side MFK Vítkovice, enjoyed a productive outing on Saturday for the club’s U19 side, contributing two assists in their emphatic 4-1 victory over Granite.
Davou’s creativity, movement and attacking intelligence were on full display as he played a key role in dismantling the opposition and further underlining why he is regarded as one of the promising young Nigerian players developing abroad.
His latest performance came only days after receiving an invitation to the Nigerian U20 setup — a major milestone in the young attacker’s career and a sign that his steady progress in Europe is beginning to attract national attention.
The former One Touch FC and Brooke House College UK product has been steadily building his reputation since moving to Europe when he joined Czech club Baník Ostrava before linking up with Vítkovice on loan till the end of the season.
Known for his pace, direct running and ability to create chances in the final third, Davou is gradually establishing himself as one of the Nigerian youngsters to keep an eye on in Central Europe.
With his confidence growing and national team recognition already arriving, the future looks increasingly bright for the emerging Nigerian talent.
