The 21-year-old defender leaves Nasarawa Amazons after an impressive 2025/26 NWFL campaign.
Super Falcons defender Jumoke Alani has completed her move from Nigeria Women Football League side Nasarawa Amazons to Turkish club Yüksekova Spor Kulübü.
The transfer marks a new chapter in the career of the 21-year-old Nigerian defender, who is set to continue her development in Turkey after establishing herself as one of the notable defenders in the NWFL.
Recent reports and announcements surrounding the transfer confirmed Alani’s move to Yüksekova Spor Kulübü, giving the Nigeria international an opportunity to begin a new phase of her career outside the country.
Alani was one of the standout performers for Nasarawa Amazons during the 2025/26 NWFL Premiership campaign. Her performances earned her a place in the league’s Team of the Season, alongside teammates Joy Igbokwe and Ayatsea Hembafan.
The defender’s consistency has been recognised over several seasons. She was also named in the NWFL Premiership Best XI for the 2024/25 season while representing Nasarawa Amazons.
Born on July 17, 2005, Alani has represented Nigeria at youth and senior international levels. She was part of the Falconets squad for the women’s football event at the 2023 African Games and also featured for Nigeria’s U-20 team at the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
Her international progression also saw her receive recognition at senior level. Alani was included in Nigeria’s squad during the qualification campaign for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and was subsequently listed as one of the alternate players for the Olympic tournament.
Alani’s move to Turkey therefore represents another significant step for a player who has continued to make progress through Nigeria’s domestic women’s football system.
Her arrival at Yüksekova Spor Kulübü also gives her the opportunity to gain experience in Turkish women’s football and further raise her profile on the international stage.
