Ahanor’s rapid rise
Born in Aversa, Italy, to Nigerian parents, Ahanor came through the Genoa academy before making his Serie A debut for the club during the 2024/25 season.
He joined Atalanta in July 2025 and quickly became part of their first-team plans. Across all competitions last season, he made 35 appearances and scored once.
His performances have now placed him on Chelsea’s radar, with the London club looking to secure his services as part of its long-term recruitment strategy.
