Turkish side Trabzonspor have reportedly placed a €15 million valuation on Nigerian striker Paul Onuachu following increasing transfer interest from Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Super Eagles forward has enjoyed one of the best seasons of his career in Turkey, finishing the 2025/26 campaign as joint top scorer in the Turkish Super Lig after scoring 22 league goals for Trabzonspor.
His outstanding form has now attracted serious attention from clubs across Europe and the Middle East, with reports suggesting Al-Ahli are closely monitoring the 31-year-old striker as they consider attacking reinforcements this summer.
According to reports from Turkish outlet Dik Futbol, Trabzonspor are reluctant to lose their star forward but could consider offers in the region of €15 million if negotiations intensify.
The valuation represents a significant increase from the fee Trabzonspor paid to secure Onuachu permanently from Southampton in 2025 after his successful loan spell with the Turkish club.
Reports also indicate Saudi clubs are prepared to offer the Nigerian international a massive salary increase that could significantly exceed his current wages in Turkey.
Onuachu has become one of the most dominant strikers in Turkish football this season, using his aerial ability, physical presence and clinical finishing to establish himself among the league’s elite forwards.
The former Genk striker has previously enjoyed title-winning success in Denmark and Belgium before rediscovering his best form in Turkey.
Despite speculation surrounding his future, Trabzonspor are understood to prefer keeping the experienced forward as they prepare for another competitive domestic campaign next season.
For Nigerian football followers, Onuachu’s resurgence in Turkey has been one of the major success stories of the season, with the striker once again proving his value at the highest level of European football.
