Nigeria’s women’s team will play all Group C matches in Rabat as they target another continental title.

Holders Nigeria’s Super Falcons will play all their group stage matches at the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Rabat, Morocco, as they begin their quest to defend their continental title.
The draw placed Justine Madugu’s side in Group C alongside debutants Malawi, regional rivals Zambia, and Egypt in what promises to be a competitive group.
Super Falcons Begin WAFCON 2026 Campaign Against Malawi
Nigeria will open their campaign against Malawi on Tuesday, 28 July at the Al Madina Stadium in Rabat.
The match will mark the start of their title defence as the nine-time African champions aim to assert dominance early in the tournament.
Nigeria Face Zambia And Egypt In Crucial Group Games
The Super Falcons will face Zambia in their second group fixture at the same venue on Saturday, 1 August.
Their final group match will be against Egypt, scheduled for the Olympic Stadium in Rabat four days later.
All three matches will be played in Morocco’s capital, giving the Super Falcons a consistent base during the group stage of the competition.

Should Nigeria finish top of Group C, they will remain in Rabat for their quarter-final clash against the runners-up from Group D.
The 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations will run from 26 July to 16 August across Morocco, with the Super Falcons once again expected to be among the favourites for the title.
With a blend of experience and continental pedigree, Nigeria will be aiming to extend their record as Africa’s most successful women’s football team.
