Former head coach Obinna Uzoho and his team, including assistant Chinedu Okonkwo, were relieved of their duties as part of a strategic move to stabilize the club’s fortunes.
In a bold decision, Kun Khalifat appointed Emmanuel Osigwe, a former Nigeria international striker, as their new head coach. Osigwe will be assisted by Chinedu Okonkwo, a CAF B license holder who has been part of the club’s technical discussions for weeks. Osigwe’s first test comes this Sunday against Warri Wolves in Ozoro, and the club hopes the coaching change will spark immediate improvement in results.
