Nigerian forward Rinsola Babajide made an immediate impact on her Serie A debut, scoring in AS Roma’s commanding 4–0 victory over Parma on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at the Stadio Tre Fontane.
The 27-year-old opened the scoring in the 28th minute, capitalizing on a precise assist from midfielder Manuela Giugliano. Babajide’s clinical finish doubled Roma’s lead and set the tone for a dominant performance.
Roma continued their offensive onslaught in the second half. Giugliano added a third goal in the 56th minute, and substitute Giulia Dragoni sealed the win with a fourth goal in the 73rd minute.
Babajide’s goal marked her first league strike for Roma and her second overall, following a goal in the Coppa Italia earlier this season. The Super Falcons star joined Roma in the summer after a successful stint with UDG Tenerife and a pivotal role in Nigeria’s WAFCON triumph.
Expressing her joy on social media, Babajide wrote: “League debut. First league goal of the season. First win of the season. All praise to God.”
With this victory, Roma moves up the Serie A standings, and Babajide’s performance underscores her growing influence in Italian women’s football.
