The victory lifts Crvena Zvezda to an EVEN 10–7 record in the EuroLeague standings, keeping them in playoff contention in Europe’s premier club competition, while Virtus Bologna sit at 8–9.

After the game, Moneke spoke about the team’s preparation and respect for Bologna’s offensive threats, especially Edwards. “We knew who Carsen Edwards is – he’s a special player,” Moneke said, acknowledging the fierce competition and critical mindset required for the win.
