The 2025 NWFL Nationwide season wraps up with four clubs achieving their dreams.

The 2025 Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Nationwide season concluded with four teams earning promotion to the prestigious NWFL Championship for the 2026 season. DreamStar Ladies of Lagos secured an immediate return to the second tier as Group A winners.

They were joined from the same group by Rangers Women of Enugu, who made history by earning promotion in their debut campaign. In Group B, Solo Wonders FC of Akwa Ibom emerged as champions following an impressive run, while Rosaria Victrix of Imo State finished as runners-up, both achieving promotion in their maiden appearances in the third-tier league.

The final matchday saw DreamStar Ladies and Rangers Women play out a goalless draw, a result that left both teams tied on points at the summit of Group A. Elsewhere in Group A, C2E Sports Academy and Plateau Queens played out an entertaining 2–2 draw. In Group B, Solo Wonders secured a 2–1 victory over Rosaria Victrix, with Jessica Obinna scoring both goals for the Akwa Ibom side. Meanwhile, NAF Queens and Alexander Queens shared the spoils in a thrilling 2–2 encounter.

The promotion of DreamStar Ladies, Rangers Women, Solo Wonders, and Rosaria Victrix marks a significant milestone in the development of women’s football in Nigeria. Their success underscores the growing competitiveness and talent within the NWFL Nationwide league.
