Saudi Pro League giants reportedly enter the race for the Club Brugge star ahead of the new season.
Saudi Pro League club Al-Ittihad have reportedly joined Eintracht Frankfurt in the race to sign Super Eagles midfielder Raphael Onyedika from Belgian champions Club Brugge during the summer transfer window.
The Nigerian international has become a key figure for Club Brugge since arriving from Danish side FC Midtjylland, earning praise for his consistency, defensive discipline and commanding displays in midfield.
During his time in Belgium, Onyedika has featured in 183 matches across all competitions, contributing nine goals and six assists while playing an important role in the club’s domestic success and European campaigns.
His performances have continued to attract interest from clubs across Europe and the Middle East, particularly as he enters the final year of his current contract with Club Brugge.
According to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, Al-Ittihad have now entered the race alongside Bundesliga outfit Eintracht Frankfurt, with the Saudi club reportedly submitting a proposal in an attempt to win the race for the Nigerian midfielder.
Reports also suggest Club Brugge have informed interested clubs that they value the Super Eagles star at around €10 million, with negotiations expected to continue during the transfer window.
With his contract winding down, Onyedika is expected to make a decision on his next move before the close of the summer transfer period.
