Afrobeats star will headline closing ceremony at Remo Stars Stadium with exciting giveaways lined up.

Popular Nigerian music star Habeeb Okikiola, widely known as Portable, is set to headline the closing ceremony of the 2026 Nigeria National League (NNL) Super Four tournament in Ikenne, Ogun State.

The entertainment sensation will perform live at the Remo Stars Stadium on the final day of the competition as organisers aim to deliver a festival-like atmosphere to conclude the 2025/2026 NNL season.

Portable, known for his energetic performances and street-inspired hit songs, is expected to add glamour and excitement to the championship finale where the overall winners of the NNL Super Four tournament will be crowned.

The tournament features four clubs already promoted to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) — Sporting Lagos, Inter Lagos, Doma United and Ranchers Bees — with all teams battling to emerge overall champions of Nigeria’s second-tier football league.

Organisers have also announced several incentives aimed at boosting fan participation during the final day event in Ikenne.

According to reports, two lucky fans will win ₦500,000 each through a live raffle draw expected to be conducted by Portable himself, while the first 200 supporters to arrive at the stadium will receive ₦5,000 each.

Officials say the initiative is part of broader efforts to improve fan experience and create stronger commercial appeal around Nigerian domestic football.

The NNL Super Four tournament has attracted growing national attention this year, particularly due to the participation of ambitious privately-owned clubs such as Sporting Lagos and Inter Lagos, alongside the increasing visibility of the league across digital platforms.

Several top football personalities have also reportedly attended matches during the tournament, including Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle and prominent football administrator Kunle Soname.

Friday’s finale is expected to combine football, entertainment and fan engagement in what organisers hope will become one of the biggest closing ceremonies in recent NNL history.
